Update to System Strength requirements in North Queensland

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

AEMO has received updated limits advice for system strength requirements in North Queensland and has completed the due diligence on this advice.
The system normal constraint equations have been modified to incorporate Powerlink latest limit advice and are now available in AEMO preproduction systems.

The limits advice document "Transfer Limit Advice - System Strength NQLD V19" has been published on AEMO website.

Implementation of constraint equations in AEMO production systems will occur at 1400hrs AEST on Thursday 27th August 2026.

Changes are:

-Replace existing equations IDs: Q_NIL_STRGTH_XXXX and Q_NIL_STRGTH_XXX_I in Q-NIL set with new equations IDs: Q_STR_NIL_XXXX and Q_STR_NIL_XXXX_I
-Updated equations to include North Queensland demand <50MW and Ross+FNQ demand <0 conditions
