By accessing or using the VOLTPULSE website and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VOLTPULSE is an automated energy news aggregation and intelligence platform. The Service collects publicly available energy news from RSS feeds and other public sources, scores and ranks articles, and presents daily digests for informational purposes.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as needed.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond what is provided via any official API
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service's aggregated content without permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

5. Intellectual Property

The VOLTPULSE name, branding, scoring algorithms, and original commentary are the property of VOLTPULSE. All aggregated news article content, headlines, and linked material remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers.

All story links point to original sources. VOLTPULSE does not claim ownership of third-party content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), VOLTPULSE expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

VOLTPULSE does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate, reliable, or complete.
  • Defects in the Service will be corrected.
  • The Service or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

VOLTPULSE is provided for informational purposes only. No investment, trading, regulatory compliance, or operational decisions should be made solely based on information provided by this Service. VOLTPULSE is not a licensed financial adviser under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or any other applicable legislation. Always verify information with primary sources and seek independent professional advice.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantee or right that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

6A. Automated and AI-Generated Content

VOLTPULSE employs artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automated systems to collect, summarise, score, categorise, and present news content. Automated content is not reviewed or verified by a human editor prior to publication unless explicitly stated.

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Summaries may not fully or accurately represent the content, context, or conclusions of original source articles.
  • Automated scoring, categorisation, and priority labels (e.g., "CRITICAL") reflect algorithmic relevance estimates only and do not indicate the accuracy, reliability, or importance of the underlying information for your specific needs.
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misclassifications.
  • Automated collection may miss relevant articles or include articles of limited relevance.

You are strongly encouraged to read original source articles via the provided links before relying on any information presented on VOLTPULSE.

6B. AI-Generated "Why It Matters" Analysis

Each article card on VOLTPULSE may display an AI-generated explanatory summary labelled or presented as "Why It Matters." These summaries are produced entirely by automated large language model (LLM) systems and are intended to provide a brief contextual interpretation of the underlying article. They are not authored, reviewed, or endorsed by a human editor.

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • These AI-generated analyses represent an automated interpretation, not an editorial opinion, factual assertion, or professional recommendation.
  • They may oversimplify, mischaracterise, or omit material context from the original source article.
  • They may contain factual inaccuracies, hallucinated details, or unsupported inferences introduced by the language model.
  • They do not constitute financial, legal, regulatory, engineering, or any other form of professional advice.
  • The presence of an AI-generated analysis does not imply any endorsement, validation, or independent verification of the claims made in the original source material.

These summaries are provided solely as a convenience to aid general comprehension. You must always refer to the original source article — accessible via the provided link — for complete and authoritative information before making any decision or taking any action.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, VOLTPULSE, its owners, operators, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and affiliates (collectively, "VOLTPULSE Parties") shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind, however caused and under any theory of liability (including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
  • Any reliance placed on any content, data, score, ranking, summary, or information obtained from or through the Service.
  • Any decision made or action taken based on information provided by the Service.
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or misclassifications in the content, including those arising from automated or AI-generated processes.
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service.
  • Any third-party content, links, or conduct.
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

This limitation applies even if VOLTPULSE Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of whether the damages arise from breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the total aggregate liability of VOLTPULSE Parties for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed AUD $100.

7A. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the VOLTPULSE Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of or reliance on the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Your infringement of any rights of a third party.

7B. Forward-Looking Statements

Content on VOLTPULSE may contain or reference forward-looking statements, projections, forecasts, or estimates from third-party sources. Such statements are inherently uncertain and subject to risks and factors that could cause actual results to differ materially. VOLTPULSE does not make, adopt, or endorse any forward-looking statements and assumes no obligation to update or revise them.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites and content. VOLTPULSE is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

9. Saved Data and User Content

If you save articles, preferences, or other data through the Service, you retain ownership of your saved content. VOLTPULSE may store and process this data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to delete saved data after extended periods of account inactivity, with reasonable prior notice.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia, and you irrevocably submit to such jurisdiction.

12. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at [email protected].

12A. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
