Update to system strength requirements in North Queensland

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

AEMO and Powerlink are continuing to investigate system strength requirements in North Queensland.
The system normal constraint equations have been modified to incorporate Powerlink's latest limit advice.

The limits advice document "Transfer Limit Advice - System Strength NQLD V18"will be published on AEMO website this morning.

Implementation of constraint equations in AEMO production systems will occur at 1100hrs AEST on Thursday 18th June 2026.

The following changes to constraint equations in Q-NIL set are

-Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAUSF and Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAUSF_I (to be updated)
-Q_NIL_STRGTH_CKWF and Q_NIL_STRGTH_CKWF_I (to be removed)
