In the face of widespread storm damage, our field crews have worked hard to safely restore power to as many customers as possible, following a peak of 162,000 outages about 6.30pm.

After last weekend’s severe weather brought cyclonic winds, cricket ball-sized hail, and more than 265,000 lightning strikes to South East Queensland, Energex is urging the community to prepare themselves and their properties for further storms forecast for this weekend.
