EnergyAustralia maintains a scheduled retirement date of 1 July 2028 for all four generation units at the Yallourn power station in Victoria, according to the latest AEMO forecast data. This alignment confirms the expected withdrawal of the brown coal facility's capacity from the National Electricity Market in mid-2028.
